International Daft Week (Looking Back at Prime Ministers Part 1)

William Howard Taft cph.3b35813.jpgInternational Daft Week, beginning with International Daft Day on Friday the 8th of March to Thursday the 15th, is a celebration that celebrates the life of our celebrated late Prime Minister, the celebrated Wilfred Howard Daft.
As Daft Week draws to a close, we examine the life of our 88th Prime Minister, Wilfred H. Daft, (1808-1888) whose celebrated terms started in the celebrated year of 1868, and ended with his twelfth term in 1881.
The Daft Painting, a celebrated painting of him was given to the Royal Marlovian Art Gallery in 1971, on the 83rd International  (Celebrated) Daft Day Celebration.
