Colonel Abuthnot Murders His Entire Family

Colonel and Lady Abuthnot prior to the
murder of the latter by the former.
Last week, an interesting story emerged. It was revealed by the Liberty Party in an official statement that Colonel Lord Henry Abuthnot, the party's Leader (and the former Prime Minister) had recently (at an unspecified date) murdered his entire [immediate] family. In interviews and at press conferences, he has given some idea of how he went about murdering his family.
"I... came down to breakfast, and I saw Mary [my wife] sitting there at the table. She said... 'Hello, Henry dear, do you want some tea?' And you know, the way she said it.... it just made me want to do something violent. So I picked up the kettle, which had tea in it, smashed it against the wall, and slammed the jagged edges into her head," Colonel Abuthnot was reported to have supposedly said, apparently according to certain possible sources, maybe.
The Colonel then went on to go into his son's bedroom, and say, "Come on, Tom, it's time for school. You can't stay lying there the whole day," before stabbing him repeatedly in the head with the boy's bedroom curtains. The boy was, to say the least, traumatized, and to say the most, dead.
The filicidal, uxoricidal, member of parliament then crept up on his daughter, Alice Judith, who had been watching television. Abuthnot hovered around her, then smashed the set over her head, repeatedly asking her whether there was anything good on television.
Colonel Abuthnot phoned up his uncle shortly afterwards and asked if he could come round for tea. Luckily, the uncle Will Rhyke, had a barber's appointment, and declined his nephew's offer. The barber, unfortunately, turned out to be Sweeney Todd, but that's another story.
The Colonel admitted later to have been suffering from stress an anxiety, and claimed that since he lost the office of Prime Minister, his 'nerves had been on edge'.
Abuthnot's parents were also invited round, but were hit by a car while crossing a road.
Colonel Abuthnot is rumored to be engaged.

Obituaries Column (Daily Hippo):
Mary Debenhamme-Abuthnot (born October 1965), her children Thomas (born September 2007) and Alice Judith (born May 2003) were all brutally murdered by Henry Abuthnot (born March 1959).
William Dallion-Rhyke was found with his coat thrut [sic] inside a mince and cheese pie. General Carver-Abuthnot and his wife were run over by a car posing as a truck.
