Colonel Abuthnot made Lord Abuthnot.

The Lord and Lady Abuthnot.  Today, our former Prime Minister Colonel Henry Abuthnot accepted a lordship from King Marlowe. He is now Colonel Lord Abuthnot. This does not mean he will be joining the Lords Party. He is still very much the Leader of the Liberty Party, and trying to win back his party's position as the most major left-wing party in the country as well as the parliamentary power. The dragons represent courage, while the peacock represents freedom and liberty.  The moon is in fact a hammerless sickle and represents left wing ideologies, as do the stars. 

Rudolph Fenton Appointed Minister for Finance

Political cartoon featuring Rudolph Fenton, appearing in the Daily Hippo. Today Rudolph Fenton was appointed the Minister for Finance by Prime Minister Raymond Donaldson. But just who is Rudolph Fenton? Well, Rudolph C. Fenton de Lakesburgenam, to give his full name, was previously Keeper of the Treasure of the Nation, a post also known as the 'Ketrenat'. It was first established hundreds of years ago. Rudolph Fenton applied for the job of Minister for Finance using the Political Audition System introduced by Donaldson and was awarded the post. He is no longer the Ketrenat, having quit the job last Monday. His new position was announced today. Rudolph Fenton was born in Queequeg, Ochiegho, to Mariay and Randolf A. Fenton. Randolf Alberto Fenton, the father of our country's Minister for Finance, was a notorious gambler, who was known for cheating at cards and card-counting in casinos.
