The New Prime Minister.

Image
The newly elected Prime Minister is Colonel Henry Abuthnot, who won the General Election with 3,300 votes. While only 7,900 voted, MBC experts say that if every citizen had votes that Abuthnot would have gotten the majority. So only one five hundred and sixth of the population voted. Strangely, eight hundred people voted for Baron Boar, which means that eight hundred people are crazy or seduced. Bassington-Bassington has been made (Shadow) Minister of Finance of the Lords' Party and Lady Copthorne-Wastedeposit is the new leader of the Lords. Quite chilly despite it being Summer. The temperature is 13 ° , and it's quite a nice, breezy day. The snow has nearly completely cleared up, however, up north, while it is chilly for Summer in the south. There is a typo here. Where it says "English", it means "Marlovian". Marlovian Labradors (usually known from their fatness and labradorableness) have become the National Dog of Marlovia. The Royal Dog, Truffles, has been given a damehood.

Statue in Scarpillar Street Commemorates John Caley

John Caley, a beloved Marlovian actor best known for his performance as Mervyn Hart in Silver West , appearing twice as Professor Quitzellus in the TV series Professor Q and for playing the young boy Jonathon in a soap opera May Street from the time of his birth to age ten, and also for his Marbar-winning performance as Doctor Self in the horror/sci-fi film Up Yours Boyo , died last year in January. Recently John Caley's son and daughter, Jack and Matilda, commissioned a statue in the "Street of Actors", Scarpillar Street, in bronze, of the actor. It was originally to be put there in the first anniversary of his death in January, but unfortununately the Marbar-winning film Up Yours Boyo III: Exodus was being filmed there.
